“Awesome at first, but after cook left…”
Doesn’t like it

This place was great the first 60 days of operation. Even though they were working out the kinks, the food was just plain good. Then they lost the Chef/Cook, hired new, still problems. Went from hot sandwiches to cold with Cold cuts. Changed the Tortilla soup recipe, skimped on everything. It got to the point where Patsy wanted this place to be a music venue, where folks would stop in the evenings and spend 2 hrs eating, drinking and listening to music, that might have worked if it was not “on the way to somewhere”. No one that stops here would spend that much time eating, since they are either going to the Airport, Bastrop, or coming from either place. Good idea, but bad execution. She has been running restaurants in Austin for years and should know better. Get back to what made it good: Home cooking and warm food for lunch, daily specials (that you actually cook) and loose the Chef and get a short order cook
